TOP 3 MISUSED NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS (& how to avoid breaking them)
#1 | NO MORE BAD FOOD
We are all familiar with the pre-new year ritual of ramming down silly amounts of pudding and pork crackling before making the clear cut decision to shred the Christmas kilos come the New Year. This resolution does tend to ignore that with a New Year comes new restaurants, new birthdays, another Easter, another Christmas and countless eating opportunities. Perhaps for some people this resolution brings about a success, but for many of us…it just isn’t appealing. We’re no experts on the human body, but here at Art Club we are firm believers in the use of balance. We’re also big advocates for eating healthily, but we also enjoy a good glass of wine !
#2 | SPEND LESS, SAVE MORE
Now there is a resolution that’s usually comprised of hope, before being executed with a crushing failure. It’s a great attitude to have, but people often set themselves ridiculous budgets that are difficult to stick to. Picking something specific that your going to cut out is the best way to keep costs down.
#3 | ENJOY LIFE, WORRY LESS, BE HAPPIER ETC
We are all about this one. We are devoted to helping people create inspiring spaces for a reason. Damn straight you should enjoy life, worry less and be happy! But even a resolution of this nature needs a little structure. Try learning a new skill, gaining new abilities boosts your brainpower and your overall personal satisfaction. Happy vibes and positive thoughts turn into positive actions, we’re sure of it. Swamp the world with good energy.
